Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant districts of Miraflores or Barranco, known for their lively atmospheres, coastal views, and culinary delights.

 

Day 2: Lima to Paracas

Depart Lima and journey south along the Pacific coast to Paracas, a seaside town renowned for its natural beauty. En route, you might stop at the Huacachina Oasis for optional dune buggy rides or sandboarding adventures. Upon arrival in Paracas, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the coastal ambiance.

 

Day 3: Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve

Embark on a morning boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the “Galápagos of Peru,” where you’ll observe diverse marine wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, and various seabirds. In the afternoon, explore the Paracas National Reserve, characterized by its dramatic desert landscapes meeting the ocean, unique rock formations, and rich biodiversity.

 

Day 4: Paracas to Cusco

Transfer back to Lima for your flight to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to acclimate to the altitude and explore the city’s blend of Incan and colonial architecture.

 

Day 5: Sacred Valley Exploratio

Discover the Sacred Valley, visiting key archaeological sites such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Engage with local communities, explore vibrant markets, and learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques. The valley’s stunning landscapes and rich history offer a deep dive into Incan culture.

 

Day 6: Machu Picchu Visit

Board the train to Aguas Calientes, followed by a bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of this iconic Incan citadel, exploring its terraces, temples, and plazas. Afterward, return to Cusco for the evening.

 

Day 7: Cusco to Puerto Maldonado (Amazon Rainforest)

Fly from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Amazon. Upon arrival, travel by boat to your jungle lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a guided walk to discover the rainforest’s flora and fauna.

 

Day 8: Amazon Exploration

Spend the day immersed in the Amazon’s biodiversity. Activities may include canopy walks, wildlife spotting, and visits to oxbow lakes. Learn about the ecosystem and the efforts to preserve this vital environment.

 

Day 9: Puerto Maldonado to Lima

Return to Puerto Maldonado for your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Peru, perhaps indulging in the city’s renowned culinary scene.

 

Day 10: Departure from Lima

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before being transferred to the airport for your departure.

What is included?

Meals Included: 10 brekfast and 1 lunch. Peruvian cuisine is exceptionally diverse. Every region, and even certain cities, boasts its own unique specialties and dishes. Throughout this holiday tour in Peru, we will ensure that you sample the finest of our culinary delights.

Accomodation: Accommodation options include double occupancy rooms in both 4-star and 3-star hotels, as well as lodging facilities.

Transportation: Transportation will be provided through a variety of means, including public buses for intercity connections, domestic flights for longer distances, train services, and speed boats for water-based transportation.

Rainbow Mountain: Private transport, guide, entrance fees and hiking.

Colca Canyon: Private guided tour with private transport

Machu Picchu: We provide a thorough 2-hour guided tour of the historic site.

Sacred Valley: Includes a local guide, entrance fees, shuttle bus to and from Machu Picchu complex.

Nazca Lines: Transfer from your hotel to the airport, fly over the famous geoglyphs (Airport taxes not included in the price as they must be paid personally at the gate before boarding the plane)

Guides: We provide English speaking local guides for Machu Picchu, Ballestas Islands, Colca Canyon, Sacred Valley, Raibow mountain, Nazca flight and Lake Titicaca tours.

What is not included?

Meals: Meals are not included if passengers choose to stay at the hotels instead of continuing on with the trips.

Gratuities: It is customary to provide a gratuity of 10% to tour guides as a formal acknowledgment of their professional services rendered. This monetary gesture serves to express one’s appreciation for the guide’s expertise and assistance throughout the duration of the tour.

Extra Activities at Paracas: Please be advised that activities available at Paracas beach are not included in the stated price and will incur additional charges. For further details regarding these activities and their associated costs, we kindly request that you contact our office at your earliest convenience.
