Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, such as Miraflores or Barranco, or relax after your journey.
Day 2: Lima – Cusco – Chinchero, Moray, and Salineras Salt Mines
After breakfast, you’ll take a morning flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and begin your exploration of the Sacred Valley. Your first stop is Chinchero, a traditional Andean village known for its weaving and vibrant market. Next, visit the circular agricultural terraces of Moray, believed to have been an Inca agricultural laboratory. Continue to the Salineras salt mines, where thousands of salt pans have been used since pre-Inca times. In the evening, return to Cusco and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Sacred Valley Tour – Ollantaytambo and Pisac
Today, you’ll delve deeper into the Sacred Valley. Begin with a visit to Pisac, exploring its impressive archaeological site and bustling market. After lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, a well-preserved Inca town with a remarkable fortress. In the evening, you’ll stay overnight in Ollantaytambo, preparing for the Inca Trail trek.
Day 4: Inca Trail Trek – Day 1
Your four-day Inca Trail adventure begins today. After breakfast, you’ll be transported to the trailhead at Km 82. The first day’s hike is a gentle introduction, passing through the lush valley and visiting the archaeological site of Llactapata. You’ll camp overnight at Wayllabamba, enjoying dinner under the stars.
Day 5: Inca Trail Trek – Day 2
This is the most challenging day of the trek, as you’ll ascend to the highest point, Dead Woman’s Pass (4,215 meters/13,828 feet). After reaching the summit, you’ll descend into the Pacaymayo Valley, where you’ll set up camp for the night.
Day 6: Inca Trail Trek – Day 3
Today’s hike is filled with archaeological sites and diverse ecosystems. You’ll visit Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, and Phuyupatamarca, marveling at the Inca engineering and breathtaking vistas. The trail continues through cloud forests, leading to your campsite near Wiñay Wayna.
Day 7: Inca Trail Trek – Day 4 and Machu Picchu
An early start allows you to reach the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) at sunrise, offering your first glimpse of Machu Picchu. After descending to the citadel, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the iconic site, learning about its history and significance. In the afternoon, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 8: Aguas Calientes – Cusco
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Aguas Calientes, perhaps visiting the local hot springs or exploring the town. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 9: Cusco – Puerto Maldonado – Amazon Rainforest Lodge
After breakfast, you’ll fly to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the southern Amazon. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a boat journey along the Madre de Dios River to reach your jungle lodge. In the afternoon, take a guided walk to explore the rainforest’s flora and fauna.
Day 10: Amazon Rainforest Exploration
Spend the day immersed in the Amazon’s biodiversity. Activities may include a visit to Sandoval Lake, home to giant otters and diverse bird species, canopy walks, and night excursions to observe nocturnal wildlife.
Day 11: Amazon Rainforest – Puerto Maldonado – Lima
After breakfast, return to Puerto Maldonado by boat and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to your hotel for your final night in Peru.
Day 12: Departure from Lima
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time in Lima before being transferred to the airport for your departure.

Inca trail to Machu Picchu: Private tour with a local guide, entrance fees, train tickets, bus to and from Machu Picchu, hotel stay, and bus transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
Sacred valley: Entrance fees, private tranport and private guided tours to all the attractions.
What is not included?
Meals: Any meals not explicitly included in the tour itinerary will be at your own expense.
Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that you purchase travel and cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances during your trip.
Gratuities: As a gesture of appreciation, it is customary to tip your guides approximately 10% of the total package cost per person.
Extra Activities: Any activities or excursions not specifically mentioned in the tour details will incur additional costs if you wish to participate.
